Mr Jimenez said: “We both work at the Brisbane Airport and felt the location was the right distance between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast which was important for our work life and lifestyle. We were also attracted to Elwood Rise because of all the hiking trails close by.”The couple expect to start building in the next two to three months, calling Elwood Rise home in 2018.“We have always lived in units, and we really wanted somewhere with more land, so we could escape the city and be more sustainable, Mrs Jimenez said.“We want to plant our own fruit and vegetables, go hiking on our weekends and, being so close to the national park, we are able to do this. “It really is the best of both worlds.”last_img
