Hoosier among Marines killed in Mississippi air crash

first_imgMiddletown, In. — Resident of Middletown in Henry County has been identified as one of the Marines killed in a Mississippi air crash this week. Ryan Lohery died with 15 other Marines when their KC-130 crashed during refueling.Ryan Lohery was a Navy corpsman and a 2005 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Lohery was also a member of the and will be remembered at the August 18 home game against Hagerstown.Governor Eric Holcomb released the following statement:“Janet and I offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of Indiana’s own Ryan Lohrey, a Navy corpsman who lost his life in a tragic plane crash this week along with 15 other servicemen. Words cannot express the depth of sorrow I feel for his wife and two young children, especially.
