first_img Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado celebrate a Tottenham goal 1 Harry Kane is backing his partnership with Roberto Soldado to be a hit and fire Tottenham up the Premier League table.The pair have started the past two Premier League games together, with Soldado scoring his first goal in the competition since March in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Everton.And Kane is now hopeful that his new partnership with the Spanish striker can help Spurs to challenge the big guns once again.“I drop a bit deeper and more into the hole, but he’s obviously a top class player and I enjoy playing with him,” said Kane.“We have had some good games in the Europa League and Capital One Cup.“We played the last couple in the Premier League and we’ve got some good results, so hopefully we can form a good partnership.”Up next for Mauricio Pochettino’s side is a daunting trip to to Premier League leaders Chelsea, who are still yet to lose a game this season.But after picking up three wins on the bounce, Kane is optimistic that Tottenham can upset the odds on Wednesday and end Chelsea’s unbeaten run.“We can’t go into it in better form. We have had three good wins in a row in all competitions,” Kane added.“Hopefully we can take that into the game on Wednesday and kick on up the table.”last_img
